Is V for Vendetta part of the DC Universe?
Actually, V is a is part of the DC continuity. He is published under Vertigo comics which is a part of DC comics, therefore, constituting him as a DC character. He’s DCU because DC migrated all the Charlton characters to the main DCU.
Is V Evey’s father?
His confidante Evey Hammond speculates in the comic that V might be her own father, who was arrested years before as a political prisoner; V denies it, however, and Moore has confirmed that V is not Evey’s father.
Does V ever show his face?
V’s face was never important, he was represented as an Idea in film. So he was an idea or a symbol, not a face and both novel and movie writer deliberately do not show his face.
What does V look like under the mask?
Although the identity of V is never revealed during the graphic novel or film, it is possible to gain an insight into what lies beneath his mask. The soldier is in fact V, and we can see his eyes and brow here. The small amount of face we see here certainly looks red and scarred, as we would expect it to be.
Does Evey fall in love with V?
That being said, he does fall in love with Evey and gives her a gift beyond comprehension. Unfortunately, the two are never successfully reunited after their mutual declaration of love. V is a very complicated human being when it comes to expressing emotions.
Why does v leave a rose?
Roses- While roses usually symbolize love or integrity, they are used in the graphic novel to symbolize revenge. Whenever V kills someone who is responsible for the corruption of the government, he leaves behind a violet rose.
Why did V cry when Evey left?
The tears came from a place of frustration because he felt as if he wasn’t showing his best performance to the ARMYs who had come to support him. Look how he looked at his fans one by one, before filling up tears. He couldn’t help but feel that he had let down his fans.
Why did evey betray V?
Suddenly orphaned, Evey is sent to a child reclamation camp, “re-educated” and released back into society. In the comic book series, V abandons Evey after he kills Lilliman; in the film, she runs away from V after attempting to betray him to Lilliman, then goes to Deitrich for protection.
Is V actually blind?
V is a tall and lanky character with turquoise eyes and hair. In Secret 001, both his eyes lose their vibrant turquoise color, as a clue that he has turned completely blind.
