Although comics and graphic novel sales didn’t drop off as sharply in 2018 as they did in 2017, according to pop culture trade news site ICv2, the past year presented challenges to comics retailers.

How many issues of Marvel Comics are there?
Marvels top 20 characters all have series that are at 6-700 plus issues of print. Many of these characters support multiple series plus one shots and mini series. Say a minimum of a 1000 unique issues for their top 20 characters that’s 20,000 unique comics just covering their core titles and characters.
